Job summary

Proactive Global is hiring a Sales Manager for the UK Parcel Solutions Team, working remotely with Birmingham as a base and some travel. The role reports to the Parcel Sales Group Leader and offers a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with UK parcel customers, lead tender processes, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver value-added solutions and services that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

Automation experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of the UK parcel market and/or customer operations preferred.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret drawings.
Willingness to undertake European travel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow relationships with key parcel customers in the UK.
Lead and manage matrixed teams during tender processes (project and service).
Lead multi-disciplined teams to define scope, design and programme look ahead.
Work closely with the UK Contracts Manager to negotiate terms.
Lead presentations of solutions to the customer, including pricing and layout.
Create effective working relationships with all departments in the UK and globally to exceed expectations.
