Job summary

HR Dept is supporting an established international manufacturing and engineering business in recruiting a Business Development Manager for the UK market. The role involves driving commercial growth, developing new business, and strengthening relationships across the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors.

You will identify opportunities, manage the full sales cycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of securing high value accounts and revenue growth.
• Experience in MedTech, Medical Devices, or Life Sciences sectors.
• Established UK healthcare industry network.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and secure new opportunities across the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors.
• Turn given quality leads into new business and manage full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities through the complete sales process.
• Develop relationships with decision makers and senior leadership teams.
• Understand customers' technical and commercial requirements and tailor solutions.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver projects and ensure excellent customer experience.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to identify future opportunities.
• Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
• Develop and deliver a business development strategy supporting long-term growth objectives.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM data while meeting commercial objectives.
