Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd seeks a UK Immigration Partner in Reading, Berkshire (Hybrid), a highly visible leadership role combining first‑class UK immigration law with strategic client relationship management and strong operational leadership.

You will own relationships with corporate clients, drive growth and retain engagements, and lead a team of immigration lawyers with advanced technology and streamlined workflows to deliver high‑touch service.

Qualifications

• Qualified UK Immigration Lawyer with substantial experience advising corporate clients on complex matters.
• Significant experience in complex UK corporate immigration law, preferably in a leading firm or specialist practice.
• Experience in senior/leadership capacity, with ability to influence clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record of mentoring and developing immigration professionals.
• Strong relationship management with senior client contacts and escalation handling.
• Commercial acumen with ability to develop and retain corporate client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, including HR leaders and C-suite executives.
• Support growth and retention of a portfolio of corporate clients, expanding existing relationships.
• Collaborate with a team of immigration lawyers using technology and efficient workflows.
• Serve as senior client contact and escalation point for complex matters and service issues.
• Lead client communications, including legal alerts and immigration updates for clients.
• Oversee client billing for accuracy, transparency, and compliance with guidelines.
• Take ownership of ongoing corporate accounts and deliver a high-touch client experience.
• Monitor matters and workflows to meet SLAs and quality standards.
• Advise senior stakeholders on immigration strategy, timelines, and jurisdictional best practices.
