Job summary

EY in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Development Associate Director for Government & Infrastructure. You will lead strategic growth initiatives, drive demand, and manage the full sales cycle with government entities.

This role requires deep public sector knowledge, ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders, and a proven track record in delivering complex proposals. Security vetting and SC clearance are relevant.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the government landscape and procurement processes.
• Proven track record selling to government agencies.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience with defence or national security stakeholders is a plus.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement targeted business development strategies for government accounts.
• Forge relationships with government officials and decision-makers.
• Identify and qualify opportunities aligning EY capabilities.
• Lead proposal development, bids and presentations for government clients.
• Oversee the sales cycle from engagement to contract closure.
• Stay informed on market trends and procurement processes in the government sector.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development and legal teams.
• Track performance, pipeline, and revenue against targets.
