Job summary

EY is seeking a Business Development Associate Director for Government & Infrastructure in the UK. You will lead strategic growth, drive opportunities, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle with government entities, leveraging relationships with officials and agencies.

You will also oversee proposals and collaborate across legal, product and marketing teams. Active SC clearance or willingness to undergo vetting is required.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Design and implement targeted business development strategies for accounts, including market analysis and competitive assessments.
• Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with government officials, agencies, and key decision-makers.
• Opportunity Identification and Qualification: Proactively identify opportunities aligned with EY capabilities.
• Proposal Development and Management: Lead creation of proposals, bids and presentations with internal teams.
• Sales Cycle Management: Oversee complete sales cycle from engagement to contract closure.
• Market Knowledge: Stay informed on government market trends, procurement processes and regulatory changes.
• Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor pipeline, forecasts and revenue targets to guide decisions.
• Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development and legal for cohesive government business development.
