Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD in the UK is seeking a General Manager to lead the UK business, report directly to the Group, and steer growth in a mature market with a strong handover. You will own the full P&L of around £10m turnover, manage a team of direct and indirect reports, and drive market expansion while maintaining operational excellence in inventory, logistics and assembly.

Qualifications

• Proven track record growing sales in SME environments.
• Degree level education; sales/operational management experience.
• Gravitas to lead a sales strategy and be the face of the business.
• Experience managing multi-million-pound P&L.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leadership elements for the business (Full P&L circa £10m t/o) including coaching and motivating.
• Develop and mentor direct and indirect reports; oversee all indirect reports.
• Carry out regular market analysis to monitor competition and economic indicators.
• Drive growth into new market focus areas and maximise opportunities; ensure inventory, logistics and assembly are efficient.
• Lead operational excellence through inventory management and leadership of logistics and assembly teams.
