Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD seeks a General Manager to head the UK business and report to the Group. You will manage a stable, profitable operation with an established team and strong industry know‑how, driving growth in a mature UK market with a smooth handover.

This role combines business generation and customer engagement, leveraging long-standing client relationships and market insight to sustain growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-million-pound P&L.
• Experience driving sales in SME environment.
• Strong client management and networking to generate new business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leadership elements for the business (P&L circa £10m t/o).
• Develop and mentor the direct and indirect reports.
• Carry out regular market analysis to monitor competition and indicators.
• Drive into new market focus areas and maximise growth opportunities.
• Lead inventory, logistics and assembly teams to deliver operational excellence.
