Job summary

Lucy Electric Ltd. seeks a highly experienced General Manager to lead the UK LEUK business from its Thame plant and offices. You will own full P&L, set vision and strategy, and guide a senior team to grow in mature and emerging markets, including sustainable energy.

You will drive manufacturing, supply chain, and aftersales, ensuring profitable delivery, risk management, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Senior management level with strong commercial focus.
• Experience in a complex matrix organisation with multiple stakeholders.
• Proven track record as a people manager leading multi-discipline teams.
• Strong financial planning and cost-control capabilities; budgeting experience.
• Degree, ideally MBA, in business or engineering; engineering background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the company strategy, goals and budget performance.
• Lead UK manufacturing and supply chain with offshore alignment.
• Oversee pre/post-sales technical support and tender responses.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI-based performance across operations.
• Coordinate with Global Sales and COO to optimize delivery and customer service.
