Job summary

Courtney Smith Group is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the UK operations from Leeds. This senior role carries full P&L responsibility and a focus on sustaining growth across a £10m+ UK business, with strong leadership of the sales and operations teams.

The successful candidate will drive revenue, margins and strategic objectives, working closely with the Group Sales Director and European group to align commercial and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior management / people management experience.
• Experience of managing a P&L and understanding balance sheets.
• Strong commercial and strategic leadership skills.
• Experience leading sales teams and driving growth.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Hands-on, proactive approach to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK business with overall leadership and performance.
• Own full P&L and balance sheet responsibility.
• Forecast EBITDA and performance, manage pipeline.
• Develop and implement growth strategy.
• Lead, motivate, and develop sales and operations teams.
• Manage key customer relationships and strategic accounts.
• Identify new commercial opportunities and markets.
• Collaborate with Group Sales Director and European group.
• Ensure ongoing operational and commercial performance improvements.
• Provide strong leadership across sales, operations and customer service.
