UK/EU Imports & Logistics Coordinator

Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated logistics administrator to support the import process for UK and EU shipments. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders and storage facilities to ensure accurate processing and on-time delivery.

The role is permanent with a Monday–Friday pattern, offering a stable career path and opportunities for development within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and prioritisation skills.
• Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office.
• Proactive approach and ability to see tasks through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain purchase and sales order information.
• Manage order statuses and track shipment dates.
• Check import documentation and ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Process customs, duty and clearance documentation.
• Coordinate deliveries and issue storage instructions.
• Monitor stock receipts and resolve discrepancies.
• Liaise with suppliers, forwarding agents and logistics partners.
• Complete stock reconciliations and maintain records.
