Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK is seeking a dynamic UK Sales Manager, Data Centers to lead growth within a fast-evolving energy and infrastructure sector. Based in the UK, with option to work from Birmingham, you will drive the UK data center sales strategy, build relationships with hyperscale operators, colocation providers and key stakeholders, and own the end-to-end sales lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical, or related field with relevant sales, marketing, product management, or engineering experience.
• Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and build professional networks.
• Solid knowledge of the data center market and experience working with data center customers.
• Strong technical acumen to support solution development and deal closures.
• Excellent communication skills to influence internal strategy during proposals and negotiations.
• Team-oriented with leadership capabilities and willingness to travel domestically (~35%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with key Data Center customers across the UK.
• Create and execute robust sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
• Build understanding of customer objectives and procurement processes to identify opportunities.
• Lead strategic pursuits and manage pipeline and forecasting.
• Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events and promote the portfolio.
