Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a dynamic UK Sales Manager, Data Centers, to lead growth in the UK market, working with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, consultants, EPC contractors and stakeholders across the data center sector.

The role covers strategy development, account leadership, and end-to-end sales from early engagement to contract award, with travel across the UK and flexibility to be based in the Birmingham area or another UK location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical, or related field.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and build networks.
• Solid knowledge of the data center market and industry contacts.
• Strong technical acumen to support solution development and deal closures.
• Exceptional communication skills to influence strategy and negotiations.
• Team-oriented, with leadership capabilities and travel flexibility (circa 35%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with UK Data Center customers.
• Create and execute robust sales plans, strategies and stakeholder maps.
• Lead opportunities, pipeline management and forecasting.
• Collaborate with sales teams, tendering and engineering to win contracts.
• Travel across the UK to support customer engagement and growth.
