Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer for the UK market to partner with the account sales team and channels. You will translate Snowflake’s capabilities into business outcomes, demonstrate value from demo to PoC, and build technical champions across accounts.

You will work with product, engineering and marketing to refine solutions, and stay abreast of competitive technologies while guiding customers toward Snowflake as their data platform. UK-based applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Sales engineering/solution architect experience in a SaaS environment.
• Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences.
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology.
• Hands on experience with SQL.
• Ability to translate customer needs into Snowflake solutions.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle
• Create and develop technical champions to drive deals
• Be at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology and present roadmap features
• Maintain understanding of competitive technologies and position Snowflake accordingly
• Collaborate with other sales engineers to learn from wins and losses
• Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing
• Represent Snowflake at industry or customer events
• Collaborate with ecosystem and implementation partners on architectures and account strategies
