Job summary

Old Parsonage Hotel in Oxford is seeking a Turndown Attendant to join our luxury team. You will prepare rooms for night use, tidy bedrooms and bathrooms to exacting standards, and keep linen areas stocked in a friendly, professional environment.

The role offers 10 hours per week, Monday–Sunday 7PM–9PM, with an hourly rate up to £13.50 including non-contractual service charges. Training is provided and experience in similar hotels is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in similar hotels is beneficial; full training will be provided.
• Eligibility to work in the UK must be proven; two references available on request.
• Must maintain polite, professional conduct at all times and be guest-focused.

Responsibilities

• Making up beds, cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
• Prepare rooms for night use and set up the room for turndown service.
• Keep linen areas stocked and maintain public areas of the hotel.

We are looking for a Turndown Attendant to join our team at the luxurious five- star plus Old Parsonage Hotel, which is part of ‘The Oxford Collection’; a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments, three restaurants that consists of the Old Bank Hotel, the Old Parsonage Hotel, 36 St Giles, Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant & Bar, and Quod Restaurant & Bar. Turndown Attendant responsibilities:

• Making up beds, cleaning bedroom and bathroom according to hotel standards and setting up the room for the night
• Keeping linen areas stocked
• Cleaning the hotel’s public areas

Turndown Attendant requirements:

• Experience working in similar hotels is beneficial, although full training will be provided
• Have high-level attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude, with a keen willingness to learn
• Maintaining polite and professional manners at all times

We offer 10 hours per week between 7PM to 9PM (Monday-Sunday rota with 2 days off) with an OTE up to £13.50 per hour, including non-contractual tronc (service charge).
