LOCATION: Gyle Shopping Centre

PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 out of 7, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards at Gyle Shopping Centre and be proactive in addressing issues in the car park, service areas, and walkways.
• Assist customers and retailers when required.
• Assist in emergency situations.
• Retrieve trolleys from the car park and transfer them to trolley bays.
• Keep trolley bays clean and free from rubbish.
• Attend to external duties and other reasonable tasks within the car park and other areas as directed by ABM supervisors and managers.
• Be flexible and responsive to changing daily priorities and requirements.
• Be knowledgeable of all trolley and collection related tasks to support current scheduled activity at shift start without the need for specific direction.

Required Skills and Experience

• Sound communications skills.
• Clean driving licence – non essential.
• Demonstrate initiative in the absence of supervision and accept responsibility.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes and other compliance policies.
• Execute duties in a manner that minimises incidents and accidents within the department.
• The staff member must be available throughout the duration of the designated shift.
