The General Medical Council (GMC) is recruiting Investigation Advisers to join the Triage team in our Manchester office. We have permanent and 2-year fixed-term contracts with a start date of 11 January 2027, and a mandatory full-time induction in Manchester.

You will provide administrative and operational support to the Triage section and Investigation Officer colleagues. You will review enquiries, evaluate information and liaise with colleagues, medical professionals and the public to

• Good analytical skills and ability to assess information using criteria, guidance and policies.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.

Responsabilités

• Review enquiries and decide if they raise Fitness to Practise concerns requiring investigation.
• Evaluate information and progress enquiries in line with guidelines.
• Liaise with colleagues, medical professionals, the public and external organisations to manage enquiries and informed decisions.
