Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator in Trauma & Orthopaedics. This part-time role, 15 hours per week (Wed & Thu, 8am–4pm), is based at St Helier Hospital. The post supports scheduling, patient pathways and administrative duties to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will have NHS administration experience, strong IT skills (PAS, Excel) and excellent communication. Evidence of appropriate qualifications is required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English or equivalent
• NVQ 3 in Business Admin or Customer Care or equivalent
• Experience using IT/patient administration systems
• Experience of NHS patient administration and scheduling surgery
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection principles

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and clerical support to Trauma & Orthopaedics pathways
• Manage waiting lists and book surgeries under orthopaedic services
• Liaise with consultants and patients to coordinate appointments and referrals
• Ensure patient-focused service and efficient, integrated pathways
