Job summary

The Esland Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker for Lily Lodge, Brierfield, Burnley. The role is permanent and full‑time, supporting young people in a trauma‑informed, therapeutic care setting.

You will build nurturing relationships, manage routines, and promote safeguarding while delivering activities and personal development. A vehicle licence and right to work in the UK are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience within care, education, mental health support and/or youth activities is highly desirable.
• A full driving licence issued in the UK
• Applicants with full right to work in the UK with no restrictions

• A calm, compassionate and resilient approach
• The ability to recognise the tough days matter just as much as the good days

Responsibilities

• Supporting your young person with emotional regulation, daily routines, and personal development
• Keeping detailed records and promote safeguarding at all times
• Supporting your young person with fun activities, their personal interests, education access and engagement and household responsibilities
• A commitment to working 48‑hour shifts, including sleep‑ins (paid), followed by a 4 day break (we are a 365 service offering structured shifts, paid bank holidays and opportunities for overtime)
