Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Support Worker to assist customers at a Leigh location. You will help connect customers with employability coaches, assist with money management, benefits applications, and moving toward permanent housing.

The role requires empathy, resilience, and ability to manage records. You will work a mix of 7.5 hour shifts across an 8-week rota, including some weekends, with ongoing admin duties and safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Team player with a caring and empathetic nature and a resilient, can-do attitude.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people; lived experience of homelessness or addiction is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer and business needs, including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Support customers using psychosocial approaches and move-on planning.
• Manage reviews of support and risk plans, and record outcomes.
• Help customers with budgeting, benefits, and tenancy-related tasks.
