Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking a dedicated SMD Support Worker in Nottingham to support women experiencing domestic abuse and multiple disadvantages. The role focuses on trauma-informed, person-centered support across housing, health and social services to promote safety and independence.

You will manage a caseload, deliver tailored support, and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure holistic care for survivors in a women-only environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting women affected by domestic abuse or gender-based violence.
• Strong experience working with vulnerable adults experiencing complex needs and multiple disadvantage.
• Understanding of homelessness, mental health, substance misuse and trauma.
• Knowledge of safeguarding adults and children.
• Experience completing risk assessments and developing support and safety plans.
• Empathetic, resilient and confident building relationships with women facing challenging circumstances.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of approximately 10-12 women, delivering tailored one-to-one support.
• Provide specialist domestic abuse support to survivors with complex needs and multiple disadvantage.
• Complete domestic abuse risk assessments (DASH).
• Develop personalised safety plans and individual support plans.
• Provide emotional support, practical guidance and advocacy.
• Support access to accommodation, healthcare, mental health and substance misuse services.
• Collaborate with safeguarding teams, adult and children's services and other agencies.
• Attend multi-agency meetings (MARAC and partnerships).
• Help women improve confidence, wellbeing, independence and recovery.
