Supporting Futures is seeking a Domestic Abuse and Complex Needs Support Worker to assist women experiencing homelessness, substance misuse and/or involvement with the criminal justice system.

Based across South Nottinghamshire, the role is 30 hours over four days, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to choose four working days. The temporary contract runs until March 2027, with a possible extension subject to funding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with complex needs.
• Experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse is essential.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and safety planning.
• Experience managing a caseload and working with multiple agencies.

Responsabilités

• Build trusting relationships with women experiencing complex and overlapping needs.
• Manage a caseload, providing trauma-informed, person-centred support.
• Complete risk assessments, including DASH, and develop individual safety and support plans.
• Help women access accommodation, healthcare, mental health support, substance misuse services and legal advice.
• Accompany women to appointments and advocate on their behalf.
• Work closely with housing providers, safeguarding teams and other specialist agencies.
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service monitoring.
