Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting a Permanent, Full-Time Domestic Abuse Caseworker to support women across Birmingham through trauma-informed, holistic support and advocacy.

You will manage a caseload, provide 1:1 trauma-informed support and risk management, attend MARACs and safeguarding meetings, and help with housing, benefits, mental health and other complex needs. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting women with domestic abuse or complex needs.
• Experience in safeguarding, social care, homelessness, or mental health.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic and non-judgemental approach.
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritise effectively.
• Understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
• DBS on Adult update Service - essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car - essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of women experiencing domestic abuse and complex needs.
• Provide 1:1 trauma-informed support, advocacy and practical advice.
• Complete assessments and develop individual support plans.
• Support women with safety planning and risk management.
• Attend MARACs and safeguarding meetings as required.
• Work closely with partner agencies and other professionals.
• Help women access housing, benefits, mental health and other services.
• Maintain accurate case records and monitor outcomes.
