Job summary

SENSE Learning seeks experienced tutors to support children and young people with SEND/SEMH. Roles include in-person, online and hybrid teaching, with flexible scheduling across KS1–KS5. You will plan and report on lessons, providing trauma-informed mentoring tailored to EHCP needs.

Candidates should have 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS and references. Based in the UK with right to work; DBS facilitation available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience with SEND/SEMH.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid teaching and tailor to SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback.
• Support pupils across KS1–KS5 and coordinate with parents/schools to align with EHCP and risk assessments.
• Work within EHCP plans and risk assessments.
