Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking tutors to support children and young people with SEND and SEMH in the UK. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid sessions, with bespoke, trauma-informed tutoring tied to EHCPs and risk assessments.

You will plan lessons, report progress, and collaborate with parents, carers and schools. A UK-based teacher or experienced tutor with safeguarding knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years post-NQT teaching with SEND/SEMH in holistic and trauma-informed settings.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Safeguarding: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Location: Based in the UK with right to work, even for remote/online roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid support to learners with diverse needs.
• Plan lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring tailored to EHCP and risk assessments.
