Job summary

SENse Learning seeks a Specialist Teacher to deliver sessions in young people's homes and the community, offering flexible in-person, online and hybrid formats. Applicants should have QTS/QTLS and at least 2 years post-NQT experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD support.

You will plan lessons, report progress and maintain safeguarding standards as a self-employed tutor across the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) required.
• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK; Enhanced DBS or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to deliver in-person, online/remote, and hybrid sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sessions in young people's homes, and in the community.
• Plan and report lessons; provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Build strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Coordinate with parents, carers and schools to tailor tutoring to EHCP and risk assessments.
