Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition for students with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles offer flexible, in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching, with a trauma-informed approach and ongoing mentoring support.

Requirements include 2+ years teaching, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and UK work eligibility. Join a mission-driven team supporting vulnerable learners in diverse communities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ references available on request.
• Based in the UK with right to work in the UK; safeguarding awareness a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online or hybrid Maths, English or Science tuition to learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Report on lessons and progress, with regular feedback to pupils and authorities where appropriate.
• Contribute to a child-centred approach to supporting vulnerable learners.
