Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND tutors and teachers in the UK on a self-employed basis. Roles cover Maths, English, or Science tutoring with flexible, trauma-informed approaches. Work can be in person, hybrid, or remote, with opportunities arranged by local authorities and schools within the UK.

Applicants should have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS or QTLS, enhanced DBS, and two professional references. The role supports vulnerable learners and offers flexible hours to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, with SEND/SEMH experience preferred.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTlS.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide progress feedback.
• Contribute to safeguarding and create a safe learning environment.
