Job summary

Targeted Provision is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers to support children with SEMH and SEND needs in the UK. Roles include Maths, English or Science tutoring with flexible in-person, hybrid, and remote options to fit your schedule.

Applicants should have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, DBS clearance, and the right to work in the UK. The role is self-employed, with opportunities arising as we secure local contracts, contributing to safer, better learning for young people.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH,
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Location in the UK with right to work, even for remote work
• Safeguarding knowledge and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Plan and report lessons and provide progress feedback
• Support Safe learning environments and trauma-informed approaches
