Job summary

• Experience leading a children's home or similar residential service.
• Ability to manage budgets and staff performance.
• Knowledge of safeguarding regulations and Ofsted frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it operates in line with its Statement of Purpose and drives continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and health & safety requirements as the Responsible Person under relevant Child-Centred Practice.
• Collaborate with families, professionals and external agencies to support positive outcomes for children.
• Develop and support staff through recruitment, training, supervision and performance management.
• Manage resources including budgets, staffing and equipment to run the home year-round.
