Job summary

Shared Services Partnership is seeking a Registered Manager for an Ofsted-regulated Children’s Home in Hampshire. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring compassionate support for children aged 10–17 who have experienced emotional trauma, within a trauma-informed Pillars of Parenting model.

You will oversee operations, maintain safety compliance, build strong relationships with children and multi‑agency professionals, and champion continuous service improvement while ensuring a nurturing

Qualifications

• Qualified: Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare and meet Ofsted registration requirements.
• Extensive management experience in residential care for vulnerable children with proven improvement of service delivery.
• Trauma-informed care understanding and ability to build positive, supportive relationships with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it delivers continuous improvement.
• Drive quality and compliance, meeting statutory, regulatory and health & safety requirements as Responsible Person.
• Champion child-centred practice and advocate for children’s needs and care plans.
• Collaborate with families, professionals, and external agencies to support positive outcomes.
• Develop and support staff through recruitment, training, supervision and performance management.
• Manage resources including budgets, staffing, and equipment for efficient operations.
