Refresh Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Registered Manager for a Residential Children's Home in Christchurch, Dorset. The role requires leading a dedicated team, ensuring Ofsted compliance and delivering trauma-informed care to children and young people.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 or Level 5 in Residential Childcare (or working towards).
• Minimum of 12 months' management experience.
• At least 2 years' experience in the last 5 years in a residential children's home.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and relevant legislation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong IT, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the Residential Children's Home.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team delivering trauma-informed, outstanding care.
• Build trusting relationships with children and young people who have experienced trauma.
• Complete audits, Regulation 44/45 processes and Ofsted inspections.
• Review and maintain records, safeguarding documentation and care plans.
• Manage safeguarding disclosures and report to LADO/MASH/Ofsted.
• Line-manage staff through supervision and development.
• Manage staffing levels and participate in the on-call rota.
• Submit Regulatory Notifications when required.
• Promote a culture focused on children's welfare and development.
