Job summary

Riverside Foundation is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Swindon. You will manage a regular caseload, provide 1-2-1 support to customers, and run group activities focused on maintaining homes and tenancies across two sites. The role involves multi-agency liaison, safeguarding, and promoting independent living.

The role requires experience with vulnerable people, structured support delivery, and a flexible, empathetic approach. Travel between sites and lone-working may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience of delivering structured support and risk management.
• Team player with a caring and empathetic nature.
• Own lived experience of homelessness or drug or alcohol addiction (desirable).
• Ability to work flexible hours including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-2-1 support to customers.
• Run group activities focused on home maintenance and tenancy readiness.
• Liaise with multi-agency partners and advocate for customers.
• Monitor health and safety on sites and ensure safe homes.
• Assist with rent, service charges, repairs and tenancy-related matters.
• Record and update customer information clearly and accurately.
