Job summary

North Wales Housing is seeking a dedicated support worker to contribute to a trauma-informed, person-centred service for residents. You will help ensure safety, respond to incidents, maintain accurate records, assist with housing benefits, and run engagement activities to promote social inclusion.

The role requires strong boundaries, safeguarding knowledge, and experience working with vulnerable individuals in a confidential, client-centred environment.

Qualifications

• Awareness of professional boundaries required.
• Understanding safeguarding principles for children and vulnerable adults.
• Awareness of the support needs of vulnerable people.
• Experience in a client centred environment.
• Experience handling information confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the building and residents.
• Act as first point of call for incidents, liaising with staff and services.
• Keep accurate records and hand over to staff as appropriate.
• Assist clients with housing and associated benefits claims.
• Provide engagement activities to promote social inclusion.
