Job summary

The Housing Network is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults and families experiencing homelessness in North Northants. The role focuses on building trusting relationships, creating outcome‑driven support plans and helping residents gain independence.

You will work with individuals with complex needs, including mental health and other challenges, providing trauma-informed, person‑centred support and guidance on tenancy documents and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults and families experiencing homelessness.
• Ability to work with individuals with complex needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based and trauma-informed support with residents.
• Conduct 1:1 support sessions and signposting to help independence.
• Manage a caseload to ensure appropriate support for residents.
• Assist residents with tenancy documents and benefits knowledge.
• Uphold safeguarding awareness and protect residents and staff.
