Job summary

Building Recruitment Co Ltd is recruiting for a Complex Needs Housing Support Worker in Coventry. You will join a small team supporting individuals with complex needs including substance misuse and mental health conditions, delivering person-centred, trauma-informed support.

We offer permanent and temporary contracts, a full-time 40-hour week, and a salary of £30,500 per annum. DBS may be required, and a driving license is essential for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs.
• Experience within a trauma-informed/psychologically informed framework.
• A valid UK driving license (company car provided).

Responsibilities

• Build trust with residents using strength-based, trauma-informed approaches to create outcome-focused support plans.
• Identify risks and design mitigation strategies to promote independence.
• Engage residents to overcome barriers and co-create plans for success.
• Uphold safeguarding and apply local policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with service managers and leaders to maximise outcomes.
• Manage a caseload to provide appropriate support.
• Support rent management and money advice to prevent arrears.
• Complete regular accommodation inspections and ensure H&S compliance.
• Assist residents to gain independent living skills and tenancy knowledge.
