Wilderness Way in the United Kingdom is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help children feel safe, valued and supported. You will build trust, create a structured home, and support education, health and wellbeing while promoting independence and resilience.

The role offers progression opportunities to Senior Residential Support Worker and involves collaboration with Therapists and care teams to achieve positive outcomes for children.

Formación

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals in care, education or related settings.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.
• Be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification if you don't already hold one.

Responsabilidades

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing home environment.
• Support children with education, health and wellbeing.
• Encourage independence, confidence and resilience.
• Help children access new experiences and opportunities.
• Support children to express their wishes, feelings and aspirations.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support emotional wellbeing.
• Work with Managers, Therapists and multi-disciplinary teams to help children achieve positive outcomes.
