Wilderness Way in the United Kingdom is seeking Residential Support Workers to help children feel safe, valued and supported in a nurturing home environment. You will build trust, support daily routines, education, health and wellbeing, and promote independence through trauma-informed care and collaborative teamwork.

Experience with childcare or youth work is valued, with opportunities to progress to Senior levels.

Formación

• Experience with children, young people or vulnerable individuals.
• Positive and resilient approach.
• Willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification if not held.
• Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship offered.

Responsabilidades

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing home environment.
• Support children with education, health and wellbeing.
• Encourage independence, confidence and resilience.
• Help children access new experiences and opportunities.
• Support children to express their wishes, feelings and aspirations.
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support emotional wellbeing.
• Work with Managers, Therapists and Multidisciplinary Teams to help children achieve positive outcomes.
