Job summary

Hampshire County Council is recruiting a Children’s Home Support Worker for our residential home in Odiham. You’ll join a small team caring for up to four children aged up to 17, focusing on safety, wellbeing and positive development in a trauma‑informed setting.

We seek compassionate, resilient people who can build trusting relationships with children who may have experienced trauma. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is preferred; if not, you’ll complete it with our support under the

• Patience, empathy and ability to build trusting relationships with children who may have experienced trauma.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare with full employer support.
• Experience in child care is beneficial, with commitment to high-quality care.
