Job summary

Hockley House in Romsey, part of Hampshire County Council, invites you to join a brand-new children’s home for ages 12-18. As a Support Worker, you will work with residential, health and education professionals to create a safe, nurturing environment where young people build confidence and develop independence.

You will contribute to care plans, maintain records, support education and personal development, and promote safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trauma-informed relationships with children, young people, families and professionals.
• Provide high-quality physical, emotional and practical support in a safe environment.
• Support children to achieve positive outcomes in education, life skills and personal development.
• Contribute to care plans, maintain accurate records and prepare reports for families and professionals.
• Promote safeguarding and wellbeing through risk assessment and safe working practices.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver therapeutic care and support plans.
