Hockley House in Romsey, operated by Hampshire County Council, seeks a part-time Children’s Homes Support Worker to help deliver trauma-informed care in a new residential setting. You’ll support residents with education, life skills and personal development, while contributing to care plans and safeguarding within a proactive team.

The role involves flexible shifts, bank holidays and sleep-in duties; salary aligns with the council pay scales and includes a market supplement where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Build positive, trauma-informed relationships with children, young people, families and professionals.
• Provide high-quality physical, emotional and practical support in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Support children and young people to achieve positive outcomes in education, life skills and personal development.
• Contribute to care plans, maintain accurate records and prepare reports for families and professional agencies.
• Promote safeguarding and wellbeing through effective risk assessment and safe working practices.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver therapeutic care and support plans.
