Job summary

Allelys is seeking a detail‑oriented Transport Administration Assistant to support the Transport Managers in delivering timely vehicle movements and customer service across the UK.

You will handle job processing in traffic management software, respond to calls, allocate work for efficient routes, and help with stock control and invoicing paperwork. Strong admin skills, Excel proficiency, and good English are essential; Mandata experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong administration experience in transport/logistics.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• Experience with Mandata or similar transport management system.
• Good standard of written and spoken English.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade C/4+.

Responsibilities

• Process jobs accurately in traffic management software.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
• Assist with allocation of work to optimise loads and routes.
• Support drivers and yard staff for smooth operations.
• Maintain stock control of customer goods in warehouses.
• Ensure paperwork (PODs, CMRs, etc.) is completed for invoices.
• Provide timely customer service and resolve queries.
