Job summary

Office Angels in Crayford is seeking an organised Transport Coordinator to plan daily deliveries and coordinate a fleet of 15 vehicles serving London and the South East.

You will report to the Operations Manager, acting as the main contact for drivers, monitoring routes in real time and resolving delays to keep operations running smoothly. A 40-hour week, Tuesday–Saturday pattern, and a proactive, customer‑focused approach are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning, routing or fleet coordination.
• Strong knowledge of London and the South East geography.
• Understanding of driver hours regulations and transport compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily deliveries and collections.
• Monitor vehicle movements and driver progress in real time.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers throughout the day.
• Respond to delays, breakdowns, route changes and customer requests.
• Ensure routes comply with driver hours and transport legislation.
• Maintain transport records and delivery documentation.
• Assist with vehicle compliance and tachograph data.
• Analyse transport data for improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, operations and management teams.
• Support a culture of excellent customer service.
