Job summary

Time Appointments are partnering with a growing, reputable company to appoint a Transport Planner. This pivotal role involves updating systems, producing reports, and coordinating drivers to ensure smooth operations.

You will manage data entry, maintain compliance with UK legislation, and deliver excellent service, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday hours. A proactive, detail‑oriented communicator will excel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics or transport coordination.
• Good understanding of UK legislation or willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proven ability to input data efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain computer systems to complete administrative tasks.
• Ensure orders and reports are completed within an efficient timeframe.
• Brief and de-brief drivers daily to keep them informed.
• Work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Understand and apply UK transport regulations in day-to-day duties.
