Work closely with internal departments, haulage providers, shipping lines and key stakeholders to maintain service levels, resolve operational challenges, and support the ongoing development of our transport operation.

You’ll also:
  • Plan and allocate haulage requirements across approved supplier networks.
  • Manage day-to-day transport bookings and ensure timely execution.
  • Act as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify alternative transport solutions when challenges arise.
  • Balance service delivery requirements with cost control objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support KPI reporting.
What You’ll Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving operational environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

You’ll ideally have:
  • Previous experience within UK haulage, transport planning or multimodal logistics.
  • Knowledge of FCL, LCL and warehousing operations.
  • Understanding of intermodal transport and UK port operations.
  • Strong geographical knowledge and container movement awareness.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
