Talent Finder is recruiting for a Transport Operations Administrator in Walthamstow. This full-time role offers funded training and no prior experience is required. Hours are Monday to Friday, 10:30 am–6:30 pm, with rare weekend cover.

You’ll support elderly and disabled transport services and gain hands-on experience in bookings, scheduling, and fleet tasks. Full induction and ongoing training are provided, along with opportunities to progress within transport operations and driver training for

Qualifikationen

• Caring and patient approach for elderly and disabled people.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Reliable and team-oriented approach.
• Proactive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to learn.
• Full UK driving licence; D1 licence not essential, with potential support to obtain one.

Aufgaben

• Support the Fleet Supervisor with day-to-day operations.
• Process and monitor bookings using scheduling systems.
• Allocate drivers and distribute daily schedules via Connect Team and text.
• Maintain accurate operational records and log sheets.
• Supervise the safe return of vehicles, drivers and crews at end of shift.
• Respond to customer and driver enquiries by phone and email.
• Assist with fleet management, including arranging vehicle inspections and liaising with garages.
• Prepare daily shift registers, operational paperwork and end-of-day reports.
• Coordinate with Dial-a-Ride regarding schedule changes and updates.
• Ensure safety procedures and return protocols are followed.
• Be willing to undertake driver training.
