Community Transport Waltham Forest is seeking a motivated Transport Operations Administrator in Walthamstow. No experience needed as full training is provided, ideal for graduates or those starting a career in transport or logistics.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Coordinate bookings, driver allocations and daily transport schedules.
• Maintain accurate operational records, shift registers and reports.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, garages and suppliers.
• Support fleet management, vehicle inspections and maintenance arrangements.
• Monitor the safe return of vehicles and crews.
• Manage schedule changes and cancellations with Dial-a-Ride.
• Follow operational procedures and help maintain high safety standards.

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 10:30 am-6:30 pm, with very occasional weekend cover

We provide essential transport services to older and disabled people across Waltham Forest, helping reduce loneliness and social isolation and enabling people to stay connected to their communities.

You'll play an important part in ensuring our services run safely, efficiently and reliably.

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside our Fleet Supervisor, you'll learn to:

• Coordinate bookings, driver allocations and daily transport schedules.
• Maintain accurate operational records, shift registers and reports.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, garages and suppliers.
• Support fleet management, vehicle inspections and maintenance arrangements.
