Job summary

Culina Logistics provides integrated supply chain services with a focus on refrigerated products. Culina is seeking a Transport Operations Support to provide general admin support to the Transport Department, with a Monday–Sunday night rotation.

The role reports into the Transport Department and involves handling timesheets, PODs, and delivery notes. The position offers a night shift from 19:00 to 03:30 with a salary of £31,687.53 per annum, reflecting experience in a logistics environment and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise work load to meet deadlines.
• Computer literate, MS Office including PowerPoint/Word/Excel.
• Able to work as part of a team or individually.
• Able to communicate effectively at the appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking timesheets for accuracy and ensuring PODs are returned complete.
• Scanning and storing PODs in Culina’s DMS.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence.
• Printing despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper.
• Answering the telephone and handling enquiries.
• Communicating ETAs to Customer Services.
• Updating spreadsheets (change-overs, run summaries, trailer checks).
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.

Job Description

Transport Operations Support will provide general administration support to the Transport Department.

Salary: £31,687.53 per annum.

Shift: 5 on 2 off nights, 19.00-03.30

Key Duties of a Transport Support Operator:

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
• Computer literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel or equivalent.
• Able to work as part of a team or individually.
• Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level.
