Job summary

Romac Logistics in Bradford is seeking a Transport Coordinator to join our operations team. You will coordinate transport office activities between driving teams, collect information, and provide daily and weekly reports to help us meet service levels.

You will ensure compliance with Health and Safety and regulatory requirements, work with internal departments, track deliveries, and resolve issues promptly to support customers and our partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in FM transport office.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Strong problem solving and can-do attitude.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate transport work to Internal and Partner Hauliers.
• Communicate and track all customer activity.
• Manage telemetry system for tracking compliance.
• Report delivery issues to Management using proper channels.
• Direct defects, accidents or safety issues to the contract manager.
• Ensure on-time collection targets are achieved.
• Collate on-time delivery information within contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues as a team.
