Job summary

Romac Logistics is seeking a Commercial Executive to support day-to-day activities in the Commercial Department. You will identify business opportunities, assist with project coordination, and help develop relationships with prospective customers.

Working closely with the Commercial Director and operational teams, you will learn our transport network and contribute to improving vehicle utilisation. The role involves customer interaction, commercial research, reporting, and administration,

Qualifications

Experience in transport or logistics industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication at all levels.
Articulate, professional approach with customers and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Calm, methodical problem-solving under multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel nationally when required.

Responsibilities

Research and identify prospective customers and new business opportunities that align with target markets and existing network.
Collaborate with operational teams to identify capacity gaps and opportunities for development.
Conduct targeted prospect research and initial customer contact to establish opportunities.
Present findings and recommendations to the Commercial Director.
Support development of customer relationships and maintain professional communication.
Coordinate meetings, reviews and follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with CRM data maintenance, enquiries, and commercial documentation.
Prepare reports and assist with project coordination and delivery.
