Job summary

Romac Logistics Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Executive in Chesterfield to support day-to-day commercial activities. You will identify business opportunities, help develop commercial projects and build relationships with prospective customers.

You will work closely with the Commercial Director and operations teams, gaining insight into the transport network and identifying opportunities to optimise vehicle utilisation and reduce empty running.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working within the transport or logistics industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to research, organise and present information clearly.
• Experience coordinating projects and supporting commercial activities.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify prospective customers and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate meetings and follow-up actions with internal teams.
• Support planning, coordination and implementation of commercial projects.
• Prepare reports and commercial information for the Commercial Director and senior management.
• Maintain customer databases and assist with enquiries and communications.
